What is it?
A field limit can be put in place on a form field so that when a determined number of registrants have made a selection, the field is no longer usable. This can be useful for events with a number limit, etc.
How to Access
Navigate to Forms > Create Form to start an application form from scratch, or Forms > Form List to edit an existing form
Click Edit next to the form you want to add a field limit to.
Using Field Limits
Select the field you want to apply a field limit to.
On the righthand side of the page, under Properties, select Edit field limits.
Make sure that Active is checked, then make a selection for how the selection should behave once the field limit has been reached. Finally, enter the limit for each selection on the field. If there is no limit on a particular selection, leave that one blank.
- Display the option as disabled: Once a selection's limit has been reached, that option will still display - however it will be greyed out, and unable to be selected.
- Do not display the option: Once a selection's limit has been reached, that option will disappear form the form completely.
