How to Access
Navigate to Forms > Form List and click Edit next to the form you want to update.
Using Field Logic
Option 1) Making a field required
To demonstrate this feature we will use Page 1, Page 2, Field 1 and Field 2.
To use field logic your form must meet the following criteria:
- The form must be at least 2 pages.
- Field 1 must be placed on a page (Page 1) that precedes the page (Page 2) on which you have placed Field 2.
After you have placed the fields and pages according to the example above, use the following to enable field logic:
1. Click on Field 2 from Page 2 to bring up the Field Properties
2. Click Edit Field Logic.
3. Select Field 1 that was created on Page 1 and click Next Page.
4 - Check the criteria from Field 1 that would determine the appropriate action from Field 2 and click Save in the Field Properties.
Option 2) Displaying specific fields on Page 2 based on a selection on Page 1
To demonstrate this feature we will use Page 1, Page 2, Attending Dinner? and Meal Options.
To use field logic your form must meet the following criteria:
- The form must be at least 2 pages.
- Field 1 (Attending Dinner?) must be placed on a page (Page 1) that precedes the page (Page 2) on which you have placed Field 2 (Meal Options).
After you have placed the fields and pages according to the example above, use the following to enable field logic:
1. Click on Field 2 from Page 2 to bring up the Field Properties
2. Click Edit Field Logic.
3. Select Field 1 (Attending Dinner) that was created on Page 1 and click Next Page.
4. Select the "No" option, then choose the option "If the value of the 'Field 1 (Attending Dinner) Field is:' question is "No", make this field uneditable." That means that anyone who has chosen "No" they won't be Attending Dinner on Page 1 will not see the Meal Option related field.
