What is it?
A Unique ID attribute can act as Member Number in your database, and a key field for future data imports. A Unique ID can be automatically generated for new members by adding it to an application form. Note: Only application type forms can generate Unique IDs.
How to Access
Navigate to Forms > Create Form to start an application form from scratch, or Forms > Form List to edit an existing form
Click Edit next to the application form.
Expand the Fields selection box on the right side of the screen and drag the Unique ID field onto your form. Click here to learn more about using the form editor.
In the field properties, you can set at which number the Unique Ids should start being assigned (ex. if your current member numbers leave off at 4500, you could start with 5000).
Note: Once a starting number has been determined for the unique ID field, it will not be able to be edited.
Once the field is added to the form, it can be linked to an attribute in the database by clicking on Link this field to an attribute.
Select the appropriate Member Number attribute from your database, then click Next Page.
